Sudu is working tirelessly to change that by placing orphaned and displaced children into nurturing families, ensuring they receive the emotional and developmental support they need to thrive.
We’re currently raising funds through two vital campaigns, and we need your help to continue making a difference:
- We are trying to raise $5,000 by December 2024 through social media efforts to support immediate needs like family training, child placements, and community outreach.
- And $50,000 through our GoFundMe campaign to expand our long-term impact, including reaching more communities and scaling our child placement program across Sierra Leone.

Two Campaigns, One Goal: A Better Future for Children
1. Social Media Fundraiser: $5,000 for Immediate Impact
We are aiming to raise $5,000 through our social media to meet the immediate needs of children and families in our care. These funds will be used to:
- Train foster parents on how to nurture children dealing with trauma.
- Place more children in loving homes, with ongoing support to ensure their well-being.
- Support outreach initiatives that help identify more families willing to open their hearts and homes.
Even a small donation can make a huge impact—just $20 can provide essential training materials for a family, and $100 can help us place a child into a new home.
2. GoFundMe Campaign: $50,000 for Long-Term Growth
We are also working to raise $50,000 through our GoFundMe campaign to expand our programs and deepen our impact in the years ahead. This larger goal will help us:
- Scale our child placement efforts to new regions of Sierra Leone, bringing hope to more children.
- Develop advanced training programs for foster parents, caregivers, and community leaders.
- Strengthen our infrastructure, allowing Sudu to continue building sustainable, community-led child placement systems.
