Michaela & Abdul
Michaela and Abdul came to Sudu via our partner organization, St. George Foundation. They are siblings. Michaela is a older by a year. Michaela and Abdul are fortunate to be with the Appio family and enjoy helping their foster mom with her small business decorating and making food. They have also met their extended family in Kenema where they have taken two holiday visits since being placed with the Appio family in October 2019. They are both very cheerful and playful children who love to play outdoors.
Foday joined the Sudu family in February 2020 and lives with the Koroma family where he stays with his foster mother and mostly looked after by his foster grandma. Miss Koroma is a hair dresser and gets along well with Foday. Foday is shy and quiet and loves to dress up in nice clothes.
Papani joined the Sudu family in October 2019, but placed with his current foster mother, Miss Koroma (a nurse) in April 2020. He is the youngest Sudu child and since being placed started going to school for the first time and is currently enrolled in a nursery school. Papani is the life of the party wherever he goes and is very loving and caring. He is constantly looking to help out.
Mohamed was placed with his Sudu parents Mr and Mrs Kamara in October 2019. He is very quiet and has a shy smile. He enjoys going to his arabic lessons and playing with the neighborhood kids. Mohamed loves technology and is constantly fidgeting with the various gadgets in his home.
Rashid was placed with his foster grandmother, Mrs. Jalloh in October 2019. He was shy and reserved at first, but since placement has really come out of his shell. He started school for the first time in September 2020 and he loves to learn.
