Yanoh is a public health professional with over seven years in the field. She holds an MPH from Icahn school of Medicine, her interests are international health, maternal health, and international development. Yanoh also lectures undergraduate courses in community health at New York Institute of Technology and teaches program planning and implementation courses with the organization, Professors Without Borders. Yanoh brings her expertise in data collection and evaluation to the team.
Habib is a proud Sierra Leonean with over 12 years of experience in the US K-12 education, and social service system. Currently, Habib serves as the National Freshman Success Director with an education advocacy organization, where he’s responsible for launching, scaling and overseeing the implementation of school improvement initiatives across four states and multiple school districts. Habib holds degrees from George Mason University, Johns Hopkins University, and Harvard Graduate School of Education but is most proud to be an alum of Leone Prep, Cockrill Prep, and Sierra Leone Grammar School.
Alhassan M. Kabia
Alhassan has a decade of financial technology solutions expertise that delivers critical decision-making strategies that drive higher levels of growth, profitability and customer satisfaction. He has deployed analytics software and tools used across multiple industries to manage risk, fight fraud, build more profitable customer relationships, optimize operations and meet strict government compliance regulations. Alhassan holds degrees from Harvard Business School, Troy University, American University and the University of Windsor. He also holds a Project Management Certificate from Georgetown University and is an alumnus of both Tower Hill Kindergarten and Primary School and the Prince of Wales Secondary School.
Dr. Mafudia A. Suaray
Dr. Suaray is a full time physician and Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey, USA. She holds a combined MD/MPH degree with a Public Health focus on Health Education and Behavior. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and practiced as a Registered Nurse for 4 years before studying medicine. She is a member of the Global Health Steering Committee at her University. Her Global Health experience and activities are varied and range from international clinical work, research & health education in Sierra Leone, to Refugee medical care in Philadelphia to political advocacy, fundraising, and community education during the 2014 Ebola epidemic. She serves as mentor to medical students interested in Global Health. She has several publications and professional presentations. She has a passion for teaching and providing care to under-served populations. She is a proud Alumni of the Annie Walsh Memorial School in Freetown, Njala International School, Awada School in Bo and Leone Preparatory School in Freetown.
Rashid was born in Sierra Leone and has lived in the United States for about 20 years. In 2013 he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland. During his time at the University of Maryland he was a student athlete. In 2015 he earned his Master’s degree in Public Policy (Project Management and Leadership). Rashid is a part of the Sierra Leonean Empowerment Network and was recently the National Project and Communication Officer for the United Nations International Organization for Migration (IOM).
